The editorial board and management team of The Malaysian Journal of Nursing (MJN) would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the country’s premier and only circulating, broad-based nursing journal.
Reaching an estimated readership of 75,000, the MJN will be distributed extensively to the nursing and healthcare community in Malaysia, Australia, the US, UK, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bangladesh, and India. Initially, the journal will be published quarterly but from January 2010 it will be published every month. The first issue of the MJN will be on the newsstands by September 2009.
The MJN will promote excellence in nursing and healthcare through the dissemination of evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research; discussion of relevant and professional issues and promotion of nursing perspectives to the healthcare community.
We have on board Dr Bibi Florina Abdullah, the ex-registrar of the Nursing Board of Malaysia, as the Editor-in-Chief of MJN. With Dr Bibi at its helm, the MJN will foster fraternal spirit and also aim to upgrade the professionalism of nurses in the country.
